Partial and Plural, a group show featuring several artists including Valerie Atkisson, was curated by Laura Hurtado and exhibited at the Rio Gallery in Salt Lake City in 2014. The five pieces created by Atkisson in the show were based on her Matriarchal Line, and highlighted her mother, who had died 4 years earlier.
